Why I joined Headstrong: While I didn’t serve in the military, I’ve been a part of the military community my entire life: growing up in a military family, working professionally in the space, and within my friends and peer networks. Through my own personal experience and having worked in the veteran space the last decade, I’ve learned the importance of access to consistent mental health resources. I knew of Headstrong and the incredible work that they’ve achieved in their 10 short years of existence. I want to be a part of helping to continue to grow and scale for future years.

What’s my role: As the new Chief Development Officer I will help the organization secure the resources needed to grow and scale the movement.

What I like most about Headstrong: There are so many intelligent and passionate individuals working on this team that are all mission driven. The commitment to innovation and the mission are energizing to say the least.

What I like to do in my spare time: Spend as much time outdoors as possible, especially when it includes the mountains. Otherwise I’m usually cheering on my beloved Tennessee Volunteers or another one of my sports teams, attending a concert or exploring the mountain west with my 10-year old boxer, Addie!
