Suji Choi joined the Headstrong Project as Clinical Program Coordinator in 2017, where she collects and manages the clinical data. She started out as a volunteer at Headstrong in the summer of 2015, because of her desire to give back to the veteran community.
Suji was born in South Korea and later moved to Rockville, Maryland. Suji served in the United States Navy as part of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 15 including two deployments aboard USS Carl Vinson, as plane captain and helicopter mechanic, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn. She earned her Bachelors in Neuroscience and Behavior from Columbia University while volunteering as EMT with Columbia University Emergency Medical Services.
